Montana is the center of the universe for wild trout fishing. The blue ribbon Gallatin River is our home water, and it’s easily wadeable and a great choice for anglers of all skill levels. Within reasonable driving distance is the Madison and Yellowstone Rivers, as well the fabled trout fisheries in Yellowstone Park. We can help arrange for guide service, which is the best way to learn how to fish our Western waters effectively. Or, we’re happy to point you toward some of our favorite spots to fish on your own. One of our staffer’s (Amy) husband, Brian, is an expert outfitter and runs Shadow of a Trout Outfitter. Rental rods and waders can be secured, no problem, so all you have to do is wade in and have fun.

Resort Property Management also works with East Slope Outfitters, a professional fly fishing outfitter that provides a variety of fly fishing experiences, from a 2-day wade to an all-day lesson, with gear, lunch, and licenses provided.
